Welcome to the homesite of Wanstead Rugby Club. We are a well established club in West Essex. Founded in 1892, the club's First XV play in Essex 1 league for the 2008-9 season and compete for the Powergen Junior Cup and the Essex Intermediate Cup. The club fields 3 senior sides and an occasional Vets team and in addition we have a burgeoning youth and mini section. There is also a great social side with events held through the year including the Annual Dinner and Dance and Bonfire Night. The ground is situated along Roding Lane North, has 3 pitches and a floodlit and drained training area next to the clubhouse.Training is held every Tuesday and Thursday from 7.30-9pm and the club uses an external coach.
